  3.     I am sickened by the senseless slaying of the Jesuit
  4. priests in San Salvador (WORLD, Dec. 4). These victims are
  5. symbolic of the people who must endure oppression at the hands
  6. of the landowners, the government and the military. U.S. aid to
  7. El Salvador amounts to more than $1 million a day, much of which
  8. helps support, directly or indirectly, the repressive military
  9. establishment. The U.S. is on the wrong side again.
